Frequently Asked Questions

Why does playback take a few seconds to start?

For live streams, the player buffers a short segment to ensure uninterrupted audio. On slower networks this may take longer. Keep the app in the foreground for the fastest start and avoid VPNs or network proxies when possible.

It plays on Wi‑Fi but not on mobile data.

Some carriers block or throttle streaming. Ensure Low Data Mode is off and that background data is allowed. If using a corporate profile or firewall, music streams may be restricted.

I get no sound after reconnect.

Toggle the play/pause once to reinitialize the audio route. Check if audio is sent to a Bluetooth device. If it persists, force close the app and reopen.

How does AutoSleep stop the radio?

You can set a countdown that stops playback when it reaches zero. If you close the dialog, the remaining time also shows on the main screen until it stops the stream automatically.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check your connection (Wi‑Fi or mobile). If weak, move closer to the router or switch networks.
  2. Disable VPNs or corporate profiles that may block streaming.
  3. Restart the app. If needed, reboot the device.
  4. On iOS, ensure Background App Refresh is enabled for uninterrupted playback.
  5. Update to the latest app version from the App Store.
